When USB Bootable device is required:
If you have a laptop or desktop computer which is not containing
a CD/DVD ROM on it. Without CD/DVD drive you can’t install an operating system
on a computer. Actually notebook computers don’t have a CD/DVD drive. So the
computers which is not having CD/DVD drives are required USB bootable devices.

While making a USB device bootable first you need some USB
bootable tools which makes our work easier and accurate. So first you have to
download USB bootable tools. In this article I would like to explain “Rufus”
USB bootable software.
Follow Below Steps:
Download:
1. Download “Rufus” USB to bootable device converter
software from the below link. - Download
2. Open the downloaded tool and it automatically detects
your USB drive if plugged.
Configuration:
3. In the “Rufus” tool select your USB device and next select Partition
and Target system type as GPT for UEFI option.
4. Make File System
as FAT32 or FAT(Default) because USB devices have FAT file system as by default

5. Make Cluster size
as default.
6. New Volume Label
is used to give name for the bootable USB device. Better give some meaningful
names like Windows 7, Windows 8, Linux bootable etc. This will help you to
easily identify the USB device what it contains.
7. In format options
check quick format, create a bootable
disk using and next create extended
label and icon files.
8. Next the important step is selecting the ISO image file
of the operating system. For that select ISO
image from the dropdown and next click on browse button which is next to the dropdown menu.
9. After selecting all the necessary option it’s time to start the process. For this just click
on start button.
This is the process to make a USB device bootable.
